As we head into the final months of the school year, I am amazed at how fast this year has gone.Ā With a return to a more typical school schedule and activities, student attendance nearing normal levels, and learning gaps being addressed, we hope the past chaos and challenges of the pandemic are behind us.Ā Each family’s path through the last two years has been different, so we need to tailor our support to meet the unique needs of each student.Ā Our staff is incredibly committed, compassionate and patient.Ā This is what it takes to wrap services around each student and ensure their individual needs are being met.Ā Please join me in honoring our absolutely amazing teachers and instructional staff next week for National Teacherās Appreciation Week š!!Ā We owe so much gratitude to our teaching staff and every person who helps educate our students.Ā It has been an eventful few years filled with unprecedented challenges and our teachers have continued to give their best every day to meet the needs of all students.Ā We are so blessed to have the dedicated and passionate staff in our District – let’s kick this week off by acknowledging how valuable and appreciated our Lakeland teachers are!Ā We not only celebrate our staff, but our parents as teachers.Ā You were your child’s first best teacher and we thank you for all the life lessons you taught your incredible cherubs š before they started school!Ā
Much Gratitude for your continued support and partnership, Dr. Meyer, SuperintendentĀ
